[Common name] Ampicillin Sodium and Sulbactam Sodium for Injection

[Ingredients] The product is a kind of compound preparation, containing 0.5g ampicillin sodium (calculated on the basis of ampicillin) and 0.25g sulbactam sodium (calculated on the basis of sulbactam) in each 0.75g of product; (2) containing 1.0g ampicillin sodium (calculated on the basis of ampicillin) and 0.5g sulbactam sodium (calculated on the basis of sulbactam) in each 1.5g of product; (3) containing 2.0g ampicillin sodium (calculated on the basis of ampicillin) and 1.0g sulbactam sodium (calculated on the basis of sulbactam) in each 3.0g of product; the ratio of ampicillin to sulbactam is 2:1.

[Indication] It is indicated for such infections caused by β-lactamase producing bacteria as the respiratory tract, hepatobiliary system, urinary system and skin soft-tissue infection, also for the mixed infection of aerobic and anaerobic bacteria, particularly for the intra-abdominal infection and pelvic infection. In addition, the product is also effective to such infections caused by ampicillin sensitive bacteria.

[Usage and Dosage] Deeply intramuscular injection, intravenous injection or drip; allow dosage per time dissolve in the diluents of 50～100ml, and complete intravenous drip within 15-30 min. For adult: 1.5～3g at each time (including ampicillin and sulbactam), once every 6h. For intramuscular injection, the daily dosage shall not exceed 6g, and not exceed 12g for intravenous purpose (not exceeding 4g for sulbactam). For children: calculated on the basis of 100～200mg/kg per day, administer in divided doses.
