A business delegation of Latin American and Caribbean regions led by Li Dapan, section chief of Ministry of Commerce, visited Zhuhai United Lab on May 13, 2017. The delegation consisted of 41 international businessmen. China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (Zhuhai Branch), China Chamber of International Commerce (Zhuhai Branch) and Zhuhai Enterprises Association for Foreign Economic Cooperation also sent the staff concerned to United Lab. During the visit, the Conference of Zhuhai Enterprises Going International -- Entering Latin America was held in United Lab’s multimedia hall.

This visit aimed to promote the economy and trade between China and the Latin American and Caribbean countries and establish deeper partnerships between Chinese and foreign companies.

As part of “2017 Business Conference of Spanish-Speaking Countries”, this activity has drawn high attention from enterprises and governments at all levels. In recent years, United Lab remains one of top 5 API exporters at home and has stably increasing business in Latin America. Therefore, Zhuhai municipal government recommended the company to the business delegation as the only biopharmaceutical representative at the conference.

The conference began with the opening speech by Li Zhi, deputy secretary-general of Zhuhai Enterprises Association for Foreign Economic Cooperation. Zhuang Xiaosheng from the marketing department was authorized by the GM Zheng Shunteng to make the welcoming speech.

After the delegation watched the company’s advertising video, Peng Fang from the marketing department explained to the delegates about the company’s current development and its business progress in Latin America.

At the succeeding conference, United Lab inquired about the registration and market sales of the new product (insulin glargine injection) in Latin America, and expressed its intention of business cooperation, which was quite applauded among the delegates.

The delegation aired their opinions and ideas about the topic and introduced the investment environments, policies and laws and regulations in their own countries, declaring that they would be happy to recommend capable pharmaceutical partners who would try every possible way to help the company open up the markets of Latin America and Caribbean regions for mutual benefits and win-win results.

After the conference, the delegation visited United Lab’s exhibition hall, where Wu Zhixiang, Xi Wenxiang and Xu Chen from the oversea sales team offered the narration service in English.

At last, they took a photo together in front of the company’s main gate, marking a successful end of the conference.
