An expert panel from theDepartment of Agriculture & Husbandry, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region visited The United Laboratories (Inner Mongolia) Co., Ltd. on Aug. 3 to conduct a site acceptance inspection on veterinary drug GMP. The company’s higher-ups and the personnel concerned received the panel and accompanied them throughout the inspection. After a rigorous examination, Inner Mongolia United Lab has successfully passed the site inspection.

Early in preparing for this inspection, The United Laboratories (Inner Mongolia) Co., Ltd already set up an office to professionally organize, arrange, examine and implement the acceptance inspection on veterinary drug GMP. The office has elaborately defined the acceptance tasks and duties of different positions, and all departments and workshops have provided active and full cooperation. QA has made multiple efforts in organizing the personnel concerned for studying veterinary drug-related laws and regulations, and inspected the workshops and departments, as an attempt to fully prepare the company for the upcoming inspection. Good performance comes from hard effort. Finally, the experts have given high credit to United Lab’s hardware, software and quality system.

Based on the features of products inspected, the panel members checked on site the production/quality management system, hardware/software conditions including personnel allocation, equipment, material, hygiene, quality management and process, assessed the operators’ knowledge about laws and regulations, and gained a detailed understanding about every production step in workshop and specific condition of every product; they also carefully went through the GMP management documents, records and files.

In making a summary, the company’s general manager Zhang Wenyu expressed his thanks to the expert panel’s hard work. He asked all company staff to see this success as a new starting point for achieving further glory and to make greater contribution to China’s veterinary drug industry. This is Inner Mongolia United Lab’s first experience in accepting and passing the veterinary drug GMP inspection, marking that the company’s quality and production management has climbed on a new height, further enhancing its position and market competitiveness in the industry and laying a sturdy foundation for the company to launch the veterinary drug line.
