Located in No. 2428, Anji Road, Sanzao Town, Jinwan District, Zhuhai, Guagdong 519040, P.R. Chinaand occupying an area of 330,000 m2, Zhuhai United Laboratories Co., Ltd. was completed and put into production in 1998. It is an integrated enterprise engaged in the production, R&D and marketing of antibiotics.
　　Its main products comprise: 5 varietiesof antibiotics, and 5 series of antibiotic API products with 46 varieties. Besides, its biological product insulin has 6 varieties in two series. It owns the largest semi-synthetic penicillin API workshop in terms of capacity (≥ 10,000 t) in China, and its products take the largest share in both domestic and export markets. Besides, the company has an annual capacity of around 1,000 tons of the "Golden Clavate" and "Silver Clavate" branded products, which are sold to the United States and European countries.
　　Benefiting from a newly-built large-scale insulin production site, Zhuhai United Laboratories launched the second-generation insulin, recombinant human insulin (USLIN® series) in 2009 and put the third-generation insulin, analogue insulin glargine (USLEN® series) on the market in early 2016. It is the only enterprise in China that produces insulin products with genetic engineering yeast expression technology, and owns the first assembly line of pre-filling insulin pens in China, being able to produce 3 tons of insulin API and about 300 million tubes of preparation each year, amounting to an annual output value of over RMB 10 billion. It is also the production site of BIOPHIN, an ingredient brand of polypeptide cosmetics.
　　Zhuhai United Laboratories Co., Ltd. is one of the earliest enterprises that are recognized wholly by the new-version Chinese GMP certification in the first try. Its amoxicillin and ampicillin products passed the inspections by Germany GMP and FDA for many times.
